Scantron
A Scantron ES2800 is available in room 244A and is accessible by using your computer lab key. TAs are generally assigned a key, if you were not assigned a key please contact your department staff.
- This ES2800 only reads Scantron Form F-158 (red, 100 questions, 2 sided)
- Bring a USB flash drive with you to save the scoring session/report. Do not save any files on the computer connected to the Scantron machine, save all results/reports and scoring sessions on your USB drive and bring it with you. This is your only record of the scores so save it and guard it.
- There is no Internet connection, no printer connected, and no Microsoft Excel on the computer connected to the Scantron ES2800. This computer is only intended for scoring. For further processing (grade posting, etc) please relocate to the computer labs.
- The Answer key only needs the answers filled out; nothing else needs to be filled in.
- ID number on Scantron test forms should only be filled in on the front side; 8 consecutive boxes for student ID numbers.
- The Scantron ES2800 reads both sides, no need to scan front and back sides seperately.
