Marco Anderson, MURP (class of '08)
Hometown: Houston, but spent most of my adult life in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and London
Planning interests: Sustainability, Transportation planning, transit oriented development, transit design and operation, and public agency management
Undergraduate school: UC Berkeley
Undergraduate major: Film History Studies
Accomplishments so far: Software sales career, returning to University after ten years away
Career objective: Transit system design and operations, and work with transit oriented developments

 


Natalie Danielle Baker, Ph.D. (entered 2006)
Hometown: New Orleans, LA
Planning interests: poverty alleviation, human security, poverty and the environment, state sanctioned terrorism and its effect on poor and ethnic minorities
Accomplishments so far: hitched across country, obtained 2 masters degrees, incurred a lot of debt, own a morbidly obese cat.
Career objective: Combination of IGO, think tank, and academia
Non-career objective: travel more, collect 1920's-40's vintage clothing
