My research interests fall into two broad categories: pollution, primarily water pollution, and conservation biology. Current projects involve analyzing the efficacy of various wastewater treatment methods in the USA and Mexico, justification for their selection, and the ecological and public health consequences of the treated products. An additional project is an analysis and evaluation of the designs of local open space preserves, use of ecological information, goals, and success.
